**Overview:**
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Parish Office Manager to join our St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church team. The ideal candidate will be a practicing Catholic responsible for providing administrative support to our office, ensuring efficient and productive operations. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who is skilled in managing multiple tasks, building strong relationships with colleagues, parishioners and vendors, and utilizing their expertise in various administrative areas.
**Duties:**
* Provide exceptional support to the office, including managing front desk operations, greeting visitors, and answering phone calls and emails in a professional and courteous manner.
* Coordinate and manage office schedules, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and events.
* Utilize ParishSoft to track office expenses, manage budgets, and perform financial reporting.
* Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail, ensuring the office is always clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
* Manage office supplies and equipment, and coordinate with vendors as needed.
* Assist with special projects, including preparing presentations, reports, and other documents as requested.
* Support team management by providing administrative support, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Manage and maintain the office calendar, ensuring all appointments and meetings are up-to-date and accurate.
**Requirements:**
* Must be a practicing Catholic.
Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar role.
* Strong skills in clerical and administrative duties, including calendar management, budgeting, and team management.
* Proficient in using phone systems and managing front desk operations.
* Experience with Parish Soft or other accounting software.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
* Experience in an office setting and a strong understanding of office procedures and protocols.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.95 - $22.19 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
