HeartShare St. Vincents Services (HSVS) Nuevo Camino program is dedicated to providing 38 unaccompanied minors, ages5-12, with a supportive, nurturing environment through transitional foster homes, daily education Monday - Friday, andsupportive wrap-around services in the Sunset Park section of New York City. Our program is rooted in ensuring that servicedelivery is trauma informed, culturally appropriate, and tailored to the needs of each child while maintaining all programrequirements of ORR.

The Case Aide is primarily responsible for assisting Caseworkers with the documentation, client contact, and foster parentcontact processes. This candidate will be primarily responsible for providing transportation for clients and assisting withscheduling appointments for clients. The Case Aide may also perform case management support services to childrenincluding but not limited to reuniting the family, ensuring the child's safety, maintaining accurate and up-to-datedocumentation of all provided services. Nuevo Camino is looking to hire staff to fill the following:

Schedule A: Monday Friday: 7am 3pm; 3pm 11pm; 11pm 7am

Schedule B: Tuesday Saturday: 7am 3pm; 3pm 11pm; 11pm 7am

Schedule C: Wednesday Sunday: 7am 3pm; 3pm 11pm; 11pm 7pm

Qualifications:

Associates degree in the behavioral sciences, human services or social services fields, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associates degree in Psychology, Human Services or other related field. required; Bachelor's Degree or bachelors in social work preferred.
Bilingual in Spanish, required
Valid Driver's License, required
1 year of experience
Must have an ability to provide excellent and compassionate customer service.
Must be reliable with time sensitive deadlines and tasks.
Exercise a high level of confidentiality. Work well under pressure and adaptable to change.
Child welfare and/or case management experience is strongly encouraged.
Computer and typing skills sufficient to perform essential job functions.
