St. John Paul II Catholic High School seeks a candidate for a full time high school social studies teacher. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, flexible, current in the latest teaching methods, technologically savvy, and has good classroom management. This candidate collaborates well with other staff members and must be certified in Florida or in another state. Candidates must pass all required fingerprinting and background checks as required by the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee and the State of Florida.
Instruct 4-5 sections of High School level social studies courses, possibly including Advanced Placement levels.
Qualifications:
Minimum of three years teaching experience at the high school level
Bachelor’s degree or secondary education
Florida Teaching Certificate or eligible to obtain a Florida Teaching Certificate
Level II Background Screening
Must be able to work in the United States
