As the Student Assistance Prevention Specialist-Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:

Provide counseling to individuals, families and groups as assigned
Maintain accurate and complete case records, on-line statistics and reporting, and other forms of paperwork as necessary
Assist school administration in developing comprehensive curriculum decisions
Provide training to teachers and school personnel on specific prevention programs. Provide follow up services/materials to teachers working with prevention curriculum
Maintain professional awareness of new and successful prevention strategies/programs in accordance with the funding source requirements
Obtain appropriate OASAS credentials (if one does not have one)

Student Assistance Prevention Specialist-Counselor Minimum Salary: $23.00

Student Assistance Prevention Specialist-Counselor Maximum Salary: $23.00

Student Assistance Prevention Specialist-Counselor Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm

This is a 10 month position

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree
Counseling Experience (youth preferred)
