Overview:
St. Luke’s Health System is currently seeking a Neuro-Ophthalmologist to join our team for an exciting new opportunity.
The selected individual will be the second Neuro-Ophthalmologist to work in the state of Idaho partnering with our neuroscience team serving our great community.
Specialty Collaboration: This is a highly collaborative position, including with ophthalmology, neurology, neurosurgery, neurointervention, and neuroradiology. St. Luke’s has a robust group of subspecialists, including vascular and cranial neurosurgery, vascular and neurohospitalist neurology, neuroimmunology, headache neurology, epilepsy and neurophysiology, and neuromuscular neurology. St. Luke’s has working relationships with several ophthalmology groups within the Boise community representing the full spectrum of ophthalmologic care. It is anticipated applicants will develop close working relationships with these groups.
Experience:
- Fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology is required, with residency training in either neurology or ophthalmology. Applicants currently in training are encouraged to apply.
Practice Setting:
- This is for an outpatient position but with the need for inpatient and emergency department consultation on a selective basis. Applicants can expect to manage the full spectrum of neuro-ophthalmology disorders, as well as the option of other disorders within their respective residency training (ophthalmology or neurology).
