Job Description
The NDS coordinator reports to the principal and to Nutritional Development Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and is responsible for providing breakfast, lunch, and snacks for students in PK - Grade 8. The NDS coordinator maintains records, orders, and communicates cafeteria programs to the entire school community.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Observe the directives of the Office of Catholic Education, Standards of Ministerial Behavior and Boundaries, and of the local school as found in the Faculty and Staff Handbook.
- Be familiar with the Archdiocesan Elementary Schools Policies and Procedures recommended by the Office of Catholic Education.
- Manage breakfast and lunch service.
- Prepare for snack service for CARES staff.
- Place food orders and manage inventory.
- Prepare food and set up a serving line.
- Maintain equipment and a good cleaning routine.
- Maintain all health department inspection reports.
- Dress in an appropriate and professional manner.
- Duties and responsibilities as needed and assigned by the school principal.

- Create a culture and atmosphere of professionalism and respect among faculty/staff and administration by refraining from criticizing colleagues in front of students or parents or to other faculty members, speaking respectfully to one another, and being inclusive of all members of the community.
- Build an atmosphere where students are encouraged in their spiritual and human formation to adopt Catholic values and the human virtues of integrity, honesty, maturity, and responsibility that will enable them to be successful in the future.
- Observe appropriate boundaries between students/parents and teachers in communication, technology, and finances.
- Follow all safety and security protocols and procedures and report any health, safety, or security concerns to the administration immediately.

- Completion of Safe Environment Training
- All documents required by Nutritional Development Services.
- All required Archdiocese of Philadelphia documents.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20,000.00 - $30,000.00 per year
