Job Description: Advancement Coordinator
Reports to: School Principal
Hours and Pay: Part-time (29 hours or less per week), hourly rate
The advancement coordinator leads fundraising efforts for the school and is responsible for executing a program that will generate gifts from alumni, parents, grandparents, and parishioners.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements fundraising strategies to secure financial support from donors
- Works closely with the principal on major gifts and fundraising events
- Builds and maintains relationships with donors
- Oversees planning and execution of the largest annual fundraiser, Mane Event
- Coordinates donor communication and thank you letters
- Effectively coordinates and implements an annual campaign or day of giving
- Develops and executes alumni programs and activities
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- A positive and supportive attitude towards the Catholic Church, her teachings, and her work
- Bachelor's degree with preferred sales, marketing, retail, or development experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to handle multiple projects
- Proficiency In Microsoft Office
- Experience with event planning

Physical Requirements: Visual acuity both near and far, manual dexterity with good eye/hand coordination, good hearing, and speech; ability to sit for extended periods; standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, bending, lifting, and squatting as necessary to perform the duties of the position; ability to lift/move objects of up to 25 pounds in weight.
