The School Operations Administrative Assistant supports various offices of Camden Catholic
High School by performing clerical and organizational tasks under the direction of a project
supervisor. The specific duties of the School Operations Administrative Assistant will vary on a
seasonal basis depending on the needs of the various offices within the school building.
Qualifications:
- Strong commitment to Catholic education
- Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
- Excellent technological skills and ability to learn and become proficient in different
computer programs
- Prior experience as an administrative assistant
- Flexibility
Reports to the President, Principal, Vice Principals, and Directors
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer telephone & greet students, staff, & families
- Acts as a liaison between administrators and other staff in screening and routing inquiries
and requests.
- Assists the administration and staff in compiling data and preparing reports
- Arrange, and help coordinate meetings and/or conferences.
- Manages office details by relieving the administration and staff of routine requests and
matters.
- Effectively manage and maintain inbox and other electronic materials and phone
communications including scheduling meetings for administration and staff.
- Communicate with various internal departments to coordinate projects and/or activities
and work closely with external parties in administrative matters.
- Performs all responsibilities in a professional, courteous and cooperative manner while
maintaining strict confidentiality of school matters.
- Take minutes for meetings as assigned.
- Support execution and help prepare for school wide events and assemblies
- Work collaboratively with other members of the CCHS team to complete
inter-departament projects
- Attends evening and weekend events as needed
- Other duties as assigned
