Overview: The Men’s Program Coordinator provides peer counseling and client education services to male clients of Aid to Women Center and coordinates the activities of assigned Men’s Program volunteers.
Responsibilities
The Men’s Program Coordinator has the following duties:
- Provides on-site coverage for men’s peer counseling and client education classes.
- Makes and tracks client appointments in the electronic medical records system.
- Provides documentation for peer counseling and classes provided to clients for the center.
- Assists in developing standards and procedures under the direction of the Men’s Program Manager.
- Assists other areas of the organization to introduce potential men’s clients to the Men’s Program.
- Enhances the client education curriculum by developing or acquiring and / or updating course material under the direction of the Men’s Program Manager.
- Recruits volunteers for the Men’s Program to supplement the men’s peer counseling.
Preferred: Bilingual English and Spanish.

- Full agreement with the Center’s Mission Statement and scope of care.
- Has experience and is comfortable working with people in crisis situations.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Has good organizational skills.
- Has excellent communication skills.
- Headquartered at South Phoenix Center and on call to Tempe Apache Center
- Living the principles of life, family and marriage of the Catholic church
