The Patient Services Representative is the welcoming agent for patients into the urgent care center and collects necessary information to initiate the urgent care visit. The registrar communicates and models the mission and values of Bon Secours.
Answers phone in a manner consistent with Bon Secours standards of excellence, appropriately routes calls, schedules patients, and enters necessary information for patient scheduling into the computer system in a timely and accurate manner.
Follows front end revenue cycle check-in standard work including Obtains registration from patients and accurately enters required information into the computer system, secures signatures on all required forms and updates information accordingly, Registers patients in a timely and accurate manner, collects missing information from the patient, Collects necessary co-pays and/or collection balances from the patient.
Maintains a safe and supportive environment by keeping the work area, supplies, and equipment in clean, orderly, and safe manner, ensuring availability and proper functioning of supplies and equipment.
Other duties include but not limited to DOT specimen collection, ordering supplies, cleaning and/or disposing of contaminated supplies, scheduling, phone triage,

Also, serving as a Drug Screen Collector, youwill be responsible for going to Emergency Rooms in Boardman, Warren, Austintown and Youngstown to perform post accident Breath Alcohol and Urine Drug testing per specific employer protocols. Serving in an on-call rotation , the screener will work one week and enjoy one week off .
Hours or availability will be: Monday through Thursday from 4:30 pm to 8:00 am and 24 hours from Friday evening at 4:30 until Monday at 8:00 am.

Required Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
Licensing/Certification
- DOT Certified Drug Screen Collector - Preferred
