The Diocese of Sioux City is seeking a person to Coordinate central payroll services to Diocesan parishes and schools. Assist director(s) with financial review of parishes, schools, and other diocesan entities to ensure the diocesan locations adhere to generally accepted accounting principles, laws, regulations, and financial policies of the Diocese of Sioux City. Assist director with benefit enrollment and compliance. This position is 40 hrs per week with full benefits.
Associate degree in accounting, finance, or business administration or equivalent work experience in a related field. Minimum two years accounting and payroll services experience required. Accounting skills including background in GL, AP, AR and financial statements are essential. Strong working knowledge of double entry accounting software such as QuickBooks, Peach Tree, parish soft or similar accounting software required.
