Position Overview:
Little Flower High School is seeking a mature and upbeat professional who will support our administration, staff, faculty, students, and families. The highly ethical and experienced team-player should possess a strong sense of integrity and desire to support all the efforts of the Development Office.
Reporting directly to the Director of Institutional Advancement, this person will be responsible for providing high-end customer service to the entire school community. This is a full-time, 12-month position.
Responsibilities:
- Manage gift entry and acknowledgment processes for all incoming donations including events
- Maintain contact with matching gift corporations and process paperwork when requested
- Manage and execute weekly and monthly gift reconciliation reports for Development and Finance Offices, as well as end of year financial reconciliation for yearly audit
- Manage the Raiser’s Edge database to ensure the integrity and accuracy of information
- Provide administrative support to members of the IA team, and as needed, to other members of the administrative team
- Prepare the Annual Report of Gifts
- Provide editorial proofreading for all external materials including fund solicitations and Happenings newsletters
- Assist with the creation, sending and tracking of email blasts and direct mailings as needed
- Assist with creating donor profiles and maintains those files in RE
- Assist with set up for various fundraising events throughout the year
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Candidates with experience working in Raisers Edge (or another fundraising database) and have proficiency in technology including Microsoft Office and social media sites preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail, especially with regard to proofreading
- Flexibility and pleasant disposition when talking with donors and working with other members of the team
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Excellent planning, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends
