Blessed Trinity Church, a Vatican II parish with a diverse congregation on the west side of Cleveland, seeks a full-time Pastoral Associate or Pastoral Minister beginning in November.
Job description includes, but is not limited to, the following parish activities: Overseeing Ash Wednesday Soup Supper, Clothing Giveaway, Monthly Community Meal, Lenten Fish Fries, Monthly Mobile Pantry, Children's Liturgy of the Word, PSR, Catechesis of the Good Shepherd levels I and II, Virtus, Sacramental preparation for First Eucharist, First Reconciliation and Confirmation, Walk for Hunger. Current Pastoral Associate is also involved in Christmas adopt-a-family, Advent collections, certification and administrator for Serv/Safe Food Handler training for Food Bank and the Cleveland Foodbank's Food Safety 101 Workshop, Meet and Greet Service, attend LGBTQ support group meetings, bulletin announcements, edible forest I and II, mulberry jam making, Virtus administrator, visits to homebound, womankind baby bottle coordinator.
The parish is growing and attracting young, church-going families with small children. As of yet, we have not developed a program for that but we would like to. Salary is based on experience and education.
