Position Overview
Are you a cleaning dynamo with a knack for divine tidiness? Do you enjoy keeping things as spotless as a church on Sunday Morning? If so, we want to talk with you! We are looking for a new part-time heavenly housekeeper to help us keep the parish rectory squeaky clean. Benefits include flexible hours, Tuesday-Friday and unlimited holy water refills.
Hours and Pay:
Part-time (16-20 hours), Hourly, Non-Exempt
Tuesday – Friday (after 9am and before 4pm)
Essential Duties:
- Cleaning the rectory rooms weekly; includes doing laundry, ironing, mopping, and vacuuming
- Cleaning the common areas of the rectory weekly or as often as needed
- Cleaning and disinfecting the guest and suite bathrooms
- Emptying trash cans and taking main trash can out for pick-up weekly
- Laundering the parish tablecloths; includes washing, ironing, and folding
- Order, receive and put away food orders weekly.
- Periodically disinfecting the refrigerator and cleaning the pantry shelves
- Preparing and cleaning guest rooms in the rectory as needed
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements
Have a positive and supportive attitude toward the Catholic Church, her teachings, and her work.
Refrain from public promotion or approval of, any conduct or lifestyle that would reflect discredit or disgrace on, or cause scandal in relationship to, the parish, or considered to be in contradiction with Catholic doctrine or morals.
Physical Requirements: Visual acuity both near and far, manual dexterity with good eye/hand coordination, good hearing, and speech; ability to stand, walk, kneel, stoop, bend, lift, and squat as necessary to perform the duties of the position; ability to lift/move objects of up to 25 pounds in weight.
