Catholic international non-profit seeks a compassionate service-minded professional to coordinate the planning for persons with illnesses and/or disabilities to travel with medical and lay volunteers to assist them to the world-renowned Lourdes Sanctuary in France.
Job Description:
- Intake and assist persons with illness or disabilities to travel to Lourdes, France
- Develop individualized Supportive Care Plans for travel and needs
- Coordinate travel and care plans with leadership and medical teams
- Negotiate airline contracts and individual connecting flights
- Arrange and support planning and preparation meetings
- Assist with travel and medical insurance purchase and claims
Qualifications/Experiences:
- Passion for our Lourdes Mission in our Charism
- Professional written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
- Knowledge and experience with Zoom or equivalent platform, file organization and eTapestry or a Customer Records Management
- Experience with logistics and international travel coordination preferred
- Multitasking ability and attention to detail required
- Personal attributes of joy, kindness, empathy, compassion and sensitivity with the sick, dying, disabled and families
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
