St. Simon the Apostle School is currently seeking a dynamic educator to join our team as a PE teacher for students in pre-K through 8th grade. The candidate is responsible for creating a classroom environment that promotes and develops an understanding of the relationship of healthy body function and exercise; motivating students to cultivate physical fitness, and appropriate social and emotional adjustment; discovering and developing the talents of students in physical achievement; and promoting strength, skill, agility and coordination in individual, dual and team physical activities and sports, in accordance with each student’s ability.
Candidates should be comfortable collaborating with faculty & staff. This position is part time at 60% with flexible days and hours. Also willing to share a PE teacher with another school who is needing part time to make a full time position for the candidate.
