St. Ann Catholic Church is currently accepting applications for a full-time accountant. The Parish Accountant is responsible for managing the parish finances and financial business processes. This includes processing weekly offerings and other forms of income, bill payment, oversight of purchasing, expense reimbursement, check requests, petty cash, and payroll processes. This position works closely with the pastor and school principal to understand the needs of each. In addition, the accountant will manage bank accounts, produce and distribute year-end tax statements to donors, and attend monthly finance council meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Previous training or applicable experience using Shelby Systems
