The Mission of St. John Vianney Theological Seminary:Responding to the Lord's command to go and make disciples of all nations, and under the apostolic vigilance of the Archbishop of Denver, the mission of Saint John Vianney Theological Seminary is discernment of, and unified formation in, priestly formation in, priestly identity marked by an intelligence of heart, with men called to proclaim Jesus Christ and build a civilization of love in perona Christi Capitis. Likewise, this community forms deacons and lay faithful to live as holy men and women in the Church's mission of the New Evangelization.
This is a part-time position, 20 hours per week.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Performs routine administrative functions such as answering the phone, receiving visitors, and filing.
Copying, record-keeping, daily collection, and mail processing.
Maintain databases.
Coordinate major events such as lectures and book presentations, including hospitality.
Maintain records, including but not limited to welcome packages, issuing contracts, and monitoring stipends.
Produce and issue student IDs.
Provide administrative support to department heads.
Provide coverage for other administrative offices when needed
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- Be a fully initiated Catholic in communion with the Catholic Church and intentionally live out the five precepts of the Church (CCC 2041-2043)
- College degree
- 2-3 years experience
COMPETENCIES and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of office processes, practices, and computer software applications, including Microsoft Suite and Office products.
- Ability to create presentations, charts, graphs, and spreadsheets.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Effective listening and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to meet deadlines and schedules in the work area.

PHYSICICAL REQUIREMENTS
Your role will require the ability to operate a computer, mouse, copier, printer, and telephone. It's important to note that the job involves frequent standing and sitting for prolonged periods, occasional walking, climbing, and balancing. Infrequently, it may require stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. It's also important to be prepared for the physical demand of frequently lifting and moving up to 35 lbs.
