St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church is seeking a dynamic Director of Religious Education (D.R.E.) to join our team. The D.R.E. will collaborate closely with the Pastor to develop and execute engaging Catechetical Programs tailored for youth and children. This leadership role focuses on fostering the ongoing spiritual growth and education within our parish community.
Program Specifics: The D.R.E. will oversee a vibrant Parish Religious Education Program serving approximately 400 students, as well as support the sacramental needs of students attending St. Francis of Assisi School. Additionally, the role involves providing training and guidance to over 70 Adult Catechists and Teenage Assistants who contribute to the P.R.E. Program.
Annually, our program facilitates faith formation for an average of 105 First Communicants and 110 young Confirmandi.
The Director of Religious Education (D.R.E.) is a full-time, year-round position offering comprehensive benefits. Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential for effective communication with our diverse community, which includes many Spanish-speaking families.
