Communication and Events Coordinator
POSITION PURPOSE Provides logistics of the parish calendar for the pastor and staff and communication and event services in support of the Pastor, parish and its activities.
Essential Position Functions
- Works directly with the Pastor and staff on the parish calendar and logistics. Keeps updated at all times and alerts those needed, with any changes.
- Willingness to use our database and parish app for process queues and communications.
- Provides support and serves as the Event Liaison for parish events.
- Prepares communications for digital platforms – Facebook, Website, Flocknote, Bulletin, Email
- Serves as liaison and public relations representative between the parish and the Faith on Fire committee. Includes marketing, registration, scheduling and other duties as assigned.
- Assists in communicating Parish and Faith Formation schedule and special events
- Performs other duties as assigned
Bilingual preferred
- High School Diploma with college preferred.

- Verifiable experience in parish setting and group collaboration.
- Leads a life consistent with the Catholic faith and moral teaching.
- Demonstrated vocal proficiency and keyboard ability.
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication.
- Demonstrated organization presentation, teamwork, technical and time management skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Working knowledge of Adobe or equivalent.
Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications.
