St. Joseph Catholic School in St. Johns, MI is accepting applications for a full time Kindergarten teaching position. Candidates must hold a valid teaching certificate, with an Elementary Education endorsement (Reading and Language Arts preferred) for the 2024-2025 school year. The candidate will also be attending Protecting God’s Children (VIRTUS) training and pass a criminal background check.
The successful candidate must be dynamic, enthusiastic and possess the ability to work collaboratively within the school environment. The candidate will be teaching Religion daily and therefore the hired candidate’s employment will be considered ministerial under the First Amendment. Similarly, the successful candidate should be a practicing Catholic who can speak thoroughly to his or her ability to infuse Catholic faith and teaching throughout the curriculum.
