Job Description – Third Grade Elementary Teacher
Nativity Catholic School is seeking a full-time Elementary Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. We desire a self-motivated and detail-oriented educator who will prepare and inspire our students to achieve their God-given potential. Our ideal candidate has experience cultivating relationships with students and families, delivering rigorous instruction, and infusing technology to increase student engagement and achievement. Experience with NWEA MAP Growth assessments and Positive Behavior Support protocols are a plus. Candidates must possess a valid Florida Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education or have the necessary education and experience to acquire certification upon employment. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Valid FLDOE Elementary Teaching Certification or FLDOE Official Statement of Eligibility
- Successful completion of a Level 2 background screening
Desired Qualifications
- Classroom teaching experience
- Master’s degree or higher in education or related field
- Reading and Gifted endorsement
