Lead Preschool Teacher Job Summary:
The Lead Preschool Teacher will be responsible for providing a whole child formation education to the students in the 2-day and 3-day preschool programs. This teacher will partner with a classroom aide in supporting the growth of our students. This teacher will also collaborate with other members of the staff in carrying out the mission of our community.
Lead Preschool Teacher Duties and Responsibilities:
Carry out designed age appropriate instructional programs that align with our mission
Implement behavior management techniques as designed/directed by the teacher
Supervise students and maintain safety in the classroom and in all areas of the school
Support student(s) in completing task(s) directed during the day
Assist with self-care as appropriate to the child/children's developmental level, including toileting skills
Develop materials for daily lesson plans
Observe and record student's academic/social behavior and progress on a given task
Attend & participate in all monthly Faculty & Grade Level Meetings
Performs all other duties as assigned by the Principal
