Physical Education and Health Teacher
Location: Holy Cross Academy: Middle School Campus
Holy Cross Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to join our faith-centered school community. This position can be filled as part-time Physical Education or full-time Physical Education and Health, depending on the candidate’s availability and qualifications.

Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate physical education lessons that promote fitness, teamwork, and overall wellness for middle school students.
(For full-time candidates) Teach health and Social Emotional education classes that align with state standards and the values of our Catholic school community, covering topics such as nutrition, personal health, and wellness.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage growth.
Organize and supervise physical activities, including recess, sports, and other school events.
Collaborate with other staff members to integrate physical and health education into the broader curriculum.
Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students during physical activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Health Education, or a related field (required for full-time).
Teaching certification (preferred).
Experience working with children or teaching physical education/health classes.
Commitment to the mission and values of a Catholic school.
Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
Enthusiasm for promoting physical activity and wellness in a school setting.
