I. POSITION PURPOSE
Provides administrative services in support of the parish and its activities. The candidate will work with the priest(s), PAA, office personnel, and vendors, inclusive but not exclusive.
Ii. Essential Position Functions
- Coordinates volunteers as needed for parish administrative projects.
- Assists with data entry
- Manages digital communication and marketing media
- Supports special projects as needed.
- Performs secretarial functions for the pastor and other staff as delegated.
- Provides general support and serves as an administrative resource to those needing assistance.
- Serves as liaison and public relations representative between the parish and its staff, members, parishioners, committee members (funeral, welcoming), vendors, and others visiting or calling the parish.
- Assists those in need by providing appropriate referral sources.
- Maintains office supply inventory and reorders as needed.
Iii. Secondary Functions
- Serves as backup receptionist as needed.
- Prepares appropriate documentation and provides duplicating and collating
services for workshops and staff events.
- Attends workshops and provides general assistance as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Assures preparation of the weekly parish bulletin as needed
- Maintains Sacramental records, parish registration, and other filing systems as needed.
The positions require a diverse range of skills to excel in the roles. These skills include
team player, time management, computer proficiency, attention to detail, communication, organization, adaptability, creativity, problem-solving, customer service, multi-tasking, and confidentiality. Proficiency in PushPay and MS-365 are plus. Bilingual is a plus.
Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications.
