Summary
Bishop Leblond High School in St. Joseph, Missouri is seeking a full time Technology Coordinator/Registrar to help teachers and staff to use technology for teaching and learning purposes. This position is also responsible for maintaining the Student Information System (SIS) and ensuring the accuracy of student information and student records. This position will average 40 hours per week.
Essential Duties
- Train and educate teachers on new technology tools and software programs.
- Work with IT Consulting company to manage and maintain the school's hardware and software systems, such as computers, printers, and network connections.
- Ensure that the school's technology is up-to-date and meets industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and fix technical problems and issues that may arise.
- Manage internet and online presence, such as social media accounts and websites.
- Collaborate with administrators and other staff members to ensure technology supports the goals and mission of the school.
- Work with the College Advisor to report GPA and prepare official transcripts and records requests for colleges, scholarships, and employment.
- Assist the Principal with new student registrations, transfers, withdrawals, and graduation documentation.
- Support staff, teachers, and administration with training and troubleshooting of SIS
- functions.
- Oversee course setup, master schedule imports, grading configurations, and calendar settings, including individual student scheduling.
- Work closely with administrators to create master course schedule.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
- Experience working with computer systems, multimedia tools, or software programs that are commonly used in classrooms.
- Experience in a school setting working with teachers and students.
- Strong understanding of curriculum and instructional design.
- Experience with and knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Office products, Canva, and Constant Contact preferred.
- Familiarity with the Catholic understanding of ministry is an asset.
