Coordinator of Family Formation, St. John Paul II Pastorate
The Coordinator of Family Formation position is available as either a full-time or part-time role, with irregular hours that may include evenings and weekends. Attendance on Sundays when Family Formation sessions are scheduled is mandatory.
The primary responsibility of the Coordinator of Family Faith Formation is to manage and oversee all aspects of the Family of Faith Formation program within our pastorate.
Key duties include:
Planning, delegating tasks, organizing facilities, coordinating volunteers, and facilitating all PreK-Adult breakout sessions.
Managing materials and curriculum.
Supporting and training catechists, overseeing the provision of recommended materials for each month across all levels from PreK to 5th grade, as well as adult programming.
Monitoring budget expenditures and ensuring efficient purchasing processes.
Collaborating with other staff members within the pastorate, aligning with the vision of the St. John Paul II formation team, and supporting additional formation/ministry programs where applicable.
The Coordinator must exhibit professionalism, a strong commitment to the Catholic faith, enthusiasm for working with children and adults, effective collaboration with staff and volunteers, and maintain a mature personal spiritual life and practice of the faith.
