ENTITY: Colorado Catholic Conference: Archdiocese of Denver, Diocese of Colorado Springs, and the Diocese of Pueblo. The Colorado Catholic Conference (CCC) is the united voice of the Catholic Bishops of Colorado and serves to uphold the dignity of human life and the common good in public policy.
POSITION OVERVIEW: Office Manager of the Colorado Catholic Conference (CCC) assists the Executive Director in fulfilling the work given to the Conference by its Board of Governors. Essential operational and administrative support will comprise the principal duties of the Office Manager.
SALARY: annual salary of $57,000 with benefits.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Independently manage updates and communication for the website (www.cocatholic.org), Voter Voice listserv, GovHawk legislative tracking software, and social media (Facebook, Instagram and X) of the Colorado Catholic Conference
• Manage projects on behalf of the Executive Director, including planning, execution, and cross-departmental collaboration
• Independently manage downtown office, including recent office remodel, organization, decor, supplies, and utilities
• Independently manage correspondence and communications as directed on behalf of the Colorado Catholic Conference, including e-mail (CCC@cocatholic.org), paper mail, phone (voicemail), and Outlook contacts
• Review, reconcile, and manage expense reports, providing recommendations to the Executive Director for budget allocations and adjustments
• Submit invoices for Executive Director's approval
• Coordinate calendar, travel, and schedule appointments and meetings as needed for Executive and Associate Directors
• Plan, execute and manage events in conjunction with Executive and Associate Directors
• Any other duties as assigned by Executive and Associate Directors
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Be a fully initiated Catholic in the communion of the Catholic Church and intentionally living out the five precepts of the Church (CCC 2041-2043)
• Refrain from promotion or approval of, or the living out of, any conduct or lifestyle that would reflect discredit or disgrace on, or cause scandal in relationship to the Catholic Conference or considered to be in contradiction with Catholic doctrine or morals
• 2-3 years' experience
• General knowledge of the political process and Catholic magisterium
• Clear and consistent verbal and written communication
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and products
• Effective interpersonal and organizational skills
• Proven ability to be a self-starter with a proven record of punctuality and dependability
• Ability to work independently to ensure task completion
• Ability to manage all assignments with excellence and meet deadlines
• Ability to professionally handle confidential information
