Guardian Angels Catholic School is seeking an energetic and dedicated Academy (grades 6–8) teacher to join our close-knit teaching family. Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
- Comfortable and competent teaching Math and English Language Arts
- Strong example of Catholic faith
- Catechist certification (or willingness to attain certification)
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with students, parents, and staff

- Assists the administration in organizing, reviewing, and revising curriculum.
- Develops well-crafted and purposeful lesson plans.
- Applies differentiated instruction and assessment strategies to support achievement for all learners in a student-centered, collaborative environment.
- Utilizes a variety of assessment tools to evaluate student understanding and adapts instruction accordingly.
- Completes additional administrative, operational, and professional duties as assigned.
- Maintains regular and effective communication with families and implements clear communication systems.
- Attends monthly in-service training, staff meetings, and committee meetings as required.
- Actively participates in professional learning teams, school committees, and grade-level discussions.
- Maintains positive, collaborative relationships with colleagues.
- Upholds confidentiality regarding students, families, and school matters.
