6th-8th grade Math AND 4th and 5th Religion teaching position

Position begins August 2025. Interviews held on a rolling basis.
Must be a Catholic in good standing, willing and able to share our Catholic faith with creativity and joy, in an age-appropriate manner.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Valid Michigan teaching certificate (Could be in process if the candidate has coursework/experience in mathematics.)
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum) including all courses and state tests needed to meet credential requirements
- Catechist certification required for all teachers of religion (may be completed within 1 year of hire)
- Required prior to working with students: fingerprinting, background check, and completion of Protecting God’s Children training.

All teachers in the Archdiocese of Detroit Catholic Schools shall be certified and/or approved for teaching by the Michigan Department of Education. All teachers are required to hold the appropriate endorsement(s) for the subject(s) they are assigned to teach. All teachers who are catechists (teachers of religion) must be certified by the Archdiocese of Detroit.
