JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE Office Assistant
JOB HOURS FULL TIME 30 HOURS
REPORTS TO Office Manager
Duties: The Office Assistant will be expected to manage phone calls, inventory, data base, proofreader, communications with members, process all mail and initial payment process and special projects assigned by the president.
Office Assistant Job Responsibilities:
• attentive to date base
• clerical functions to maintain up to date records on all members, contracts with organizations and the USCCB members.
• review publications for proof reading
• keeps track of inventory
• social media - Facebook and Instagram
• eblast - communication going and coming in
• assist Executive Committee and Board of Directors with any reports needed
• at minimum, meets weekly with President and Office Manager
• must be able to travel away from home for one week via air or car for national convention at company expense.
• understanding of Catholic Church ethics, traditions, procedures, and organizational structure.
