St Richard is seeking a full-time employee to manage administrative duties for parish operations & maintain related records. This person will report directly to the pastor. The Parish Office Manager oversees parish communications, the schedule of volunteers for liturgies and money-counting, the booking of campus rooms and rentals, and cemetery plot sales. The Parish Office -- Manager is the primary bulletin editor and sacramental record-keeper, and has principal oversight of the office space, including receiving guests, directing phones calls, and ordering office supplies.
Top Qualifications:
Professional verbal, written communication and strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in basic office computer programs, namely Microsoft Office.
Proficient in office management and customer service.
Willingness to learn specialized computer programs, namely Parishsoft for record keeping and Publisher for bulletin editing.
Strong listening skills and a positive attitude towards interacting with various individuals.
Capable of seeing the overall picture & suggesting improvements to current systems & procedures.
Independent thinker and worker who requires little supervision.
Timely, work-oriented, and well-dressed in appropriate office attire.
Willing to pursue additional training as needed.
