- Undergraduate degree in Biology or science-related field is required, Master's degree preferred.
- NC State certification is recommended. If the candidate does not have NC certification, the candidate must meet diocesan standards for assignment.
- A lived experience of the Catholic Faith in worship, beliefs, and lifestyle is an important foundational background.
- Candidate is expected to prepare college-preparatory lesson plans, collaborate with coworkers, communicate with students and parents on classroom-related issues, and grade instructional material promptly.
