Base Pay: $40,000-45,000 commensurate with experience

The Development Coordinator II assists the Director of Development in leading and managing the fund development program, raising funds for campus ministry. Primary responsibilities and qualifications are outlined below.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing.
-Preferred bachelor's degree in an area of such as development, business, communications, or public relations.
-Must be able to demonstrate self as a take charge professional with the ability to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines while working fairly independently.
-Must demonstrate attention to detail and high expectations for quality.
-Must demonstrate excellent writing skills, including proof reading.
-Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe software.
-Experience in videography and Adobe premiere preferred.
-Proficiency in database software is preferred (Raisers Edge).
-Proven record of excellent communication skills including, professional telephone manner, interpersonal skills, and speaking.
-Ability to work effectively with other employees, department heads, representatives of other agencies and the public.
-Ability to keep current with trends and be a team player with constructive input.
-Ability to work effectively with and report to the Director of Development.
ACTUAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: All Job responsibilities will fall under the direction of the Director of Development.
-Assumes a lead role implementing and managing fundraising activities including but not limited to special events and parish appeal weekends.
-Managing the preparation of annual appeals including selecting a theme and student highlight, promotional materials, gift solicitations, media strategy, and the direct mail component.
-Manage grant seeking including research, proposal writing, and reporting requirements.
-Oversee the Senior Class Gift event(s) and ask.
-Donor engagement for monthly giving.
-Maintains confidentiality regarding donors, gifts and activities.
-Other tasks as assigned by the Development Director.
