Central Catholic High School is seeking a faithful, passionate, selfless, and resilient Science teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Applicants must be enthusiastic about the mission of Central Catholic High School. The candidate should have the ability to construct his or her curricula, develop syllabi, hold high academic and behavior expectations for all their students, offer support and instruction to students at all ability levels, and deliver high-quality instruction. The preferred candidate has an enthusiasm for working with youth, a strong understanding of core concepts and curricula, an understanding of high school Biology learning standards and curricula, the ability to teach AP Biology, and the desire to work in a Christian environment.

Responsibilities
- Support and uphold the Catholic mission of the school.
- Plan a program of study with logically sequenced objectives.
- Employ a variety of instructional techniques meeting the individual needs and abilities of the students.
- Practice positive, consistent discipline in the management of the classroom.
- Communicate with parents regarding academic, behavioral, or safety concerns.
- Evaluate academic growth of students.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and appropriate confidential records such as gradebook, attendance, etc.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the work environment and grow professionally.
- Establish positive relationships and rapport with students.
- Participate in our House System's activities, events, and opportunities to connect with colleagues and students.
Required Skills and Education
- Current Professional Educators License or Certificate with proper endorsement
- Knowledge of the basic teachings of the Catholic Church
