Position Title: Pastoral Associate
Location: St. Therese Little Flower
Status: Part-time
Reports To: Pastor
Position Objective
The Pastoral Associate at St. Therese Little Flower will assist the pastor with administrative and pastoral duties, serve as a member of the parish staff, provide leadership and consultation for various groups, committees and processes in the parish. This position will collaborate in or direct a variety of aspects of parish life such as the faith formation team, RCIA, sacramental preparation, adult faith development, evangelization, the stewardship council with volunteerism and the annual auction, senior adults, women’s spirituality, young adult ministry, sacramental records, substitute priests and social media. The position is part time.
Essential Duties
- Plan and prepare events or series for adult faith formation.
- Collaborate with Young Adult groups for regularly scheduled functions.
- Develop school-year based faith formation for children and youth.
- Direct a variety of aspects of parish life and sacramental preparation, which includes RCIA, adult confirmation, First Communion, Baptism, and Marriage preparation.
- Work with the pastor, pastoral council, and pastoral staff to implement our mission, give advice regarding daily operations, and assist with the recruitment, training, and oversight of volunteers.
- Assists in the preparation of various sacraments.
- Other duties as the directed by the Pastor.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
- One to two years’ experience in parish work or related field is desired.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Practicing Catholic with ethical standards, personal integrity, and conduct consistent with the morals and teachings of the Catholic Church.
- Proficiency in the use and management of digital and social media.
