Art Director
Position Overview
Our Agency client is seeking a creative and experienced Art Director to lead our design team and drive the visual identity of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in branding and visual communication, with the ability to conceptualize and execute innovative design solutions that engage and inspire our audience.
The role is fully remote and hours will range from 10 to 20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the design team to deliver high-quality visual content.
- Develop and implement creative concepts and visual strategies for various projects.
- Oversee the execution of design projects, ensuring they meet brand guidelines and project objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and sales to create cohesive and impactful designs.
- Manage multiple projects from concept through execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our design practices current.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Art Director or similar role in a creative environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design styles and projects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Excellent understanding of visual communication principles and branding.
- Strong skills in typography, layout design, and illustration.
- Experience in project management and directing art teams.
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively under tight deadlines.
