Capital Campaign Accounting Coordinator

Position Summary
St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church is seeking a Capital Campaign Accounting Coordinator to lead and
implement a successful capital campaign in support of building a new church, as well as renovating the Family
Life Center and Courtyard Rooms. This individual will work closely with the pastor, the Campaign Executive
Committee, parish leadership, volunteers, and benefactors to ensure the campaign's success through strategic
planning and fundraising efforts.
Responsibilities
• Posting and recording pledges made through Letters of Intent
• Maintaining accurate records of contributions and benefactors
• Presenting weekly financial reports of the campaign as part of the Executive Committee
• Acknowledging gifts and pledges made
• Ensuring billing reminders and invoices are sent out in a timely manner
• Collaborating with the Campaign Communications Coordinator for messaging purposes
Qualifications
• Faith & Mission Alignment:
• Active Catholic faith with a commitment to the Church's mission and values.
• Education & Experience:
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree (Business, Accounting, Finances, Nonprofit Management, or related field).
• Preferred: Experience in fundraising, accounting, sales, or nonprofit management.
• Skills & Competencies:
• Strong organizational, communication, and database skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook).
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Enthusiastic, goal-oriented, and mission-driven approach to fundraising.
