Youth Ministry Director
Are you ready to embark on a thrilling journey of faith and growth? St. Faustina Parish seeks a passionate and dynamic Youth Ministry Director to join our team, vibrant community, and serve our youth.
Purpose: The Youth Ministry Director at St. Faustina Catholic Church, Fulshear, Texas, leads teens to encounter Christ, experience His mercy, and set the world on fire with His love. Overseeing a dynamic team, this leader will foster a thriving youth community, empowering young people to grow in faith and share it boldly. With the rapid growth of our parish, we need a creative, adaptable, and mission-driven disciple ready to inspire the next generation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and expand a dynamic youth ministry program for junior high and high school students, integrating Life Teen and Edge, sacrament preparation, service, socials, and retreats - empowering young people to embrace their call to discipleship.
• Inspire and oversee the Junior High and High School Youth Ministry programs and the staff, ensuring a unified and effective ministry.
• Recruit, equip, lead and empower a strong Core Team of volunteers to engage in relational ministry, disciple teens and accompany them on their journey of faith.
• Manage resources wisely, overseeing the youth ministry budget to support impactful programs and events.
• Stay creative and innovative, keeping up with best practices in youth ministry through ongoing training and formation.
• Collaborate with parish leadership to align youth ministry with St. Faustina's vision and mission.
• Be flexible and ready to serve, stepping into additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
• Faith-filled leader who is a practicing Catholic in good standing, committed to living out and sharing the Church's teachings.
• A minimum of three-years of experience in youth ministry, with a strong grasp and understanding of adolescent faith development required.
• Bachelor's degree in theology, religious education, or a related field required.
• Deep prayer life and a personal commitment to discipleship and evangelization.
• Exceptional communicator verbally and in writing with the ability to connect authentically with teens, parents, and volunteers.
• Highly organized and adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-growing ministry.
• Creative and innovative with a passion for engaging today's youth in meaningful ways.
• Direct experience with youth in sacramental preparation, including both First Communion and Confirmation required.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for youth ministry events and activities.
