Position Summary
Belmont Abbey College seeks a part-time Residence Life Support Coordinator.
Job Responsibilities
The Residence Life Support Coordinator is the central administrative support person for the Office of Residence Life. As such, this role serves as the primary departmental point of contact for students and the acting liaison between departments. This part-time position supports daily office operations by providing exceptional service to residents and guests and supporting the director, assistant director, and area coordinators. The ideal candidate will be attentive, proactive, and dedicated to upholding the policies and procedures of Residence Life for students, parents, faculty, and staff. This role requires staffing a front desk during assigned business hours, access to student housing records, supervising work-study students, and handling administrative tasks as assigned by the director or assistant director.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to provide exceptional service and create welcoming environment; have professional oral and written communication skills; strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to self-prioritize tasks; ability to work independently and as part of a team; possess strong interpersonal skills; and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and G Suite. The work environment is an office setting, which requires the ability to work 20 hours per week.
