Department: Outreach Priests a department of Parish and Community Services (PCS)
Reports to: PCS Director of Business Development
Educational or Certification Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree or commensurate experience.
Requirements:
• Possess understanding and knowledge of the Catholic Church and hierarchy.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading skills and oral communications skills; Spanish is a plus, but not required.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; work well under pressure and able to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to quickly learn database systems.
• Must be comfortable designing and creating presentations, newsletters, etc.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design and implement overall Outreach Priest recruiting strategy to result in hiring Outreach Priests with a specific emphasis on fluent bilingual with high level potential for fund raising results. Must additionally work to grow recruitment in target geographical areas as prioritized by opportunities booked, donor engagement, and high-priority targeted markets.
• Sourcing and attracting candidates by using databases, social media, etc., conferences and networking excellence. Research opportunities for immediate and long-term recruitment best practices. Commitment to travel for both recruiting and OP observation to accelerate fundraising results.
• Perform selection function including pre-screening resumes and candidates, participating as part of interview team, advising hiring managers, driving the offer process, leading post-interview debriefs and feedback sessions with interview teams, candidates, and all levels of leadership.
• Represent Cross Catholic Outreach for recruiting purposes at identified networking and industry events, job fairs, conferences, etc., participating in special projects when necessary.
• Collaborate with department managers to proactively identify future hiring needs. Proactively responsible to seek market intelligence to gain organizational competitive standards and advantage.
• Responsible for developing leadership expertise in the recruitment process and goals for all viable Outreach priest recruitment categories.
• Responsible for consistent documentable reporting on growth efforts for short and long-term results. Responsible for research and analysis to discern all recruiting opportunities.
• Responsible for participating in travel for training and Outreach Priest observation and fund-raising feedback and improvement.
• Grow Cross Catholic Reputation as "best place to work" if you are a Catholic priest with a heart for the poor and are available to work and travel.
• Initiate and grow meaningful relationships with persons of influence that can open doors to learn and grow the Outreach Priest recruitment effort and results.
• Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, CRM notes, and all other event data as necessary.
• Work with the PCS Development Team to assess and grow fundraising results.
• Other duties as assigned.
Position Summary:
The Outreach Priest Recruiter is a professional responsible for sourcing and recruiting Catholic priests in good standing to work (full-time or part-time) to meet current and future financial and donor acquisition goals for Cross Catholic Outreach.
