Position Summary:
The Part-Time Outside Sales Representative will provide exceptional service and sell cemetery products and services within the Diocese of Cleveland. They will build strong relationships with families, funeral homes and organizations in the community while providing education on Catholic Cemeteries Association (CCA) burial products and services.
Compensation Data: Commission sales, paid mileage.
Travel: Between cemetery offices, and throughout the Diocese of Cleveland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with families in the office, at home appointments or other locations.
- Educate and assist families with cemetery burial needs on a pre-need or at-need basis.
- Quote accurate prices and credit terms; prepare sales contracts.
- Verify accuracy of information, maintain accurate inventory and sales records.
- Work with the Director of Sales to identify potential new inventory or services to meet customer needs.
- Act independently and responsibly to perform duties on a consistent basis.
- Maintain a positive attitude, assist clients with great care and compassion.
- Build relationships within the death and elder care industries.
- Attend trade shows and training as appropriate.
- Prepare sales reports and submit expense reports as necessary.
- Complies with policies and professional standards. Follow company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in sales and marketing in the service industry.
- Requires one (1) to three (3) years of sales and marketing experience, preferably in a related industry.
- Must have reliable vehicle/transportation, valid driver’s license, required automobile insurance, and the ability to safely and independently operate said vehicle.

Work Environment:
- Position will include appointments and meetings at cemetery offices, off-site appointments and remote work.
- Must reside within 40 miles of Cleveland, Ohio 44105.
