Job Summary:
The Maintenance worker at Saint John XXIII Pastoral Center is responsible for the physical condition of the Center facilities including the grounds. This position involves responsibility for general maintenance and repairs of buildings, all equipment and vehicles, operation and maintenance of water treatment & waste disposal, groundskeeping and physical preparation of areas used by groups. Responsibility includes being proactive to troubleshoot and resolve issues with the building, equipment and grounds.
Some of the required qualifications include mechanical, plumbing, electrical, multi-tasker, problem solver & self-starter, detail oriented, team player and welcoming & respectful to all guests.
Works evenings, weekends and holidays/holydays when needed. Helps in kitchen & housekeeping when needed.
