Director of Technology
- Works with the Principal to assure implementation of a Catholic philosophy within the school
- Performs the duties of I.T. Coordinator which are to maintain, manage and support informational technology and its requisite infrastructure.
- Models and promotes Catholic virtues in word and action.
Functional Responsibilities
- Supports faculty/staff/students with all aspects of technology.
- Supports classroom software i.e. PowerSchool.
- Supports wireless devices (access points and devices connecting to access points)
- Supports all server operating systems.
- Supports all individual operating systems owned by BCCHS.
- Assists faculty/staff with personal technology as it interfaces with the BCCHS network.
- Supports all versions of Microsoft Office.
- Supports all software and hardware owned by BCCHS.
- Supports Virtual machine (VMWare) software and hardware.
- Supports infrastructure devices (hubs and switches).
- Supports Storage Area Network (SAN) devices.
- Supports projectors/clickers/ and other multimedia hardware and software.
- Adapts system to new technology(e.g. Ipads)
- Serves as liaison to outside vendors to optimize functioning of network to the best of capabilities.
- Communicates respectfully and effectively with students, faculty, staff, parents and other patrons.
- Assists with general supervision of students as needed.
- Chairs technology committee, develops and updates technology plans, and works with administrator in implementing technology plan.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and knowledge of education technology preferred.
