Overview
The Regional Hispanic Sales Manager has a high-value, training and implementation role as a partner in sales development, new membership in the fraternity, and training of bilingual sales agents. This position is responsible for consistently guiding, illustrating, measuring, and expanding the opportunities through which Knights of Columbus Insurance in the Agencies approaches the Hispanic market in the regions, parishes, and communities.
This position will report to the Vice President of Hispanic Sales and Development in the Field Management Department.
Core Responsibilities
- Guide and support the agencies in constant regional strategies on the tools, mentoring, and training sessions developed in the insurance program to impact the Hispanic market, within a framework of constantly recruiting new bilingual sales agents.
- Develop, implement, and measure a plan that provides greater opportunities for the Field Force to connect and link with the Hispanic Communities in their Territories.
- Provide direct support to agencies in identifying and creating events conducive to the Hispanic market.
- Motivates and provides positive support for Agents, Assistant General Agents, and General Agents to promote sales in Hispanic communities and parishes.
- Provide advice and constant feedback to the Field Force on the culture and idiosyncrasies of the Hispanic Community to increase opportunities for outreach and membership to the Organization.
- Illustrate to the leadership of the Agencies in their Territories how to build lasting relationships between Hispanic Diocesan leadership in Hispanic Communities, and fraternal development that led and facilitated the penetration of Agents in business development.
- Constantly train the FAHMS and expand the direct recruitment capacity in the Field.
- Maximize effectiveness through a robust evaluation process.
- Provides support for WebEx to drive FBN.
- Works in conjunction to support corporate leadership ethics.
Skills Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Knights of Columbus Structure, its councils, mission and Agencies structure.
- Deep understanding of the Insurance Program and Agencies Structures.
- Must have a strong understanding of the Hispanic Culture and idiosyncrasy.
- Deep understanding of the Catholic Church Doctrine, Mission and Values.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills to support multi-tasking.
- Broad ability to connect communally and transmit ideas and strategies in varied and changing environments.
- Ability to facilitate meetings locally and regionally, in person and virtually to provide training sessions for Insurance Agents.
- Fluent communication skills in English and Spanish.
- The ability to plan, maintain consistent progress against the plan, attention to quality, deadlines, and details. This includes being able to create a project plan and provide reporting during the project.
- Knowledge of the sales environment, agency operations, tools, processes, and best practices for agents
- Ability to give and receive feedback.
- Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Education
- High School Graduate - preferably basic University education
- 2 years of experience in Sales or Significant highlight for experience in areas related to the subject of employment
- KofC Council member
- Demonstrates expertise in developing training and development programs.
- Experience leading in relationships with Groups, Associations, Ministries or Ecclesiastical Pastorals of Hispanic Ministries.
- Experience offering support to Hispanic communities in 2 languages.
- Knowledge and experience working within the Catholic Church.
- Willingness to travel.
- Licensing/Certification:
- FIC or CLU preferred.
