St. Celestine School serves 365 students in Grades PreK3-8. We are a dynamic, Christ-centered community with wonderful families and dedicated teachers. Our school has one-to-one devices and a strong technology program developed over the years. The use of technology and dedication to innovation makes us stand out in our community.
Responsibilities
- Servicing over 400 devices
- Maintenance of our MDM
- Troubleshooting technology issues
- Integrating and updating software and applications
- Managing Google accounts
- Monitoring device and system security
- Structuring and completing repairs
- Using school communication system to communicate to families
- Meeting with teachers and training teachers on software that improves education and safety in our school
- Collaborating with teachers on implementing technology-infused content based lessons
- Teaching and co/teaching technology lessons in Grades K-8
- Forwarding school initiatives related to technology
- Assisting in after school clubs related to technology (drones, school news crew, Lego club, etc...)
- Providing and training staff on integrating technology to support student achievement
- Collaborating on the evaluation, selection and implementation of instructional technology and software
- Providing leadership on developing and implementing technology plans
- Answer questions and troubleshoot computer, phone, and network problems
- Maintain computer, network, phones and audiovisual technology on school premises
- Researches advancements in technology tools and resources to inform decision making
