Essential Job Functions
- Support the Teacher in providing developmentally appropriate early childhood education experiences across various subjects, including religion, art, music, literacy, science, and mathematics.
- Assist in supervising activities that promote the health, emotional, social, intellectual, and physical development of each child, aligning with Diocesan goals and objectives.
- Maintain a neat, safe, and organized classroom environment and assist in the upkeep of all educational equipment and materials.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- We prefer a practicing Catholic with knowledge of Catholic prayers, holidays, and teachings.
- Ability to organize and coordinate work effectively with the teacher.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students and staff.
- Commitment to self-evaluation and professional growth.
- Professionalism in attire, communication, and demeanor.
Qualifications
- Must complete the Safe Environment requirements of the Rockford Diocese Virtus program.
Job Summary
- Hours: 8:00 am - 12:30 pm Monday - Friday.
- Position: Part-time, unbenefited
