Job Description
We are seeking a long-term substitute kindergarten teacher to join our team (February 2025-May 2025). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing instruction to students in a safe and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and be able to create engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of all learners. The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction to students in a safe and nurturing environment
- Create engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of all learners
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Valid teaching certification
- Experience working with young children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability
