We are seeking a Part Time Spanish Teacher for grades K-8 to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching Spanish and fostering a positive learning environment for students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of students at varying proficiency levels.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to actively participate in language learning.
- Assess students' language skills and progress regularly to provide feedback and support.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and instructional strategies.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices in language education and incorporate innovative teaching methods into lessons.
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate Spanish instruction across subjects and grade levels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or related field preferred;
- Proficiency in Spanish language (native or near-native fluency).
- Experience teaching Spanish to elementary and middle school students preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of educational technology and its integration into the classroom.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Successful completion of a Level II Background Screening.
