Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our Development team. The ideal candidate must be able to work collaboratively and committed to maintaining a professional office environment. This position requires proficiency in data entry, strong organizational and computer skills, and the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

Incorporate the charism and mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph into the role.
Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all staff, to ensure a professional, responsible, and courteous work environment
Good communications skills and demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively with co-workers, conveying formation accurately, timely and effectively.
To be organized, efficient and fulfill responsibilities assigned while maintaining confidentiality regarding office work.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and donor management software experience.
Excellent time management skills, attention to detail, ability to take initiative, and to prioritize work.

Experience

Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role is preferred
Minimum of two (2) years data entry experience preferred
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
Experience with DonorPerfect is preferred but not necessary
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
